Where there is evil there go heroes.

This relationship between the elements of evil and heroes in myth seems to have existed since the beginning of time, since there was air, water, fire, and earth. For as long as there is need, and storytellers there is no such thing as a universe absent of good, absent of evil, absent of heroes absent of villains. A hero is linked to his monster; he should never be enslaved by the entity which he battles. It is in the night where he tracks and fights every perverted being created by renegade gods. He brings light by his mastery over his will and speaks only of holy things. To be remarkable requires rigorous training and self-control; some men cannot live this kind of life. Every man is like a leaf leaving a tree, a spark leaving an inferno, like a man leaving God; his way of living determines how big his flame is; he must have a deep dedication to a spiritual life, and sometimes this requires a life of solitude.
